In 1998, RASIT launched its initiative “Health is a Human’s Right and Dignity”. The Initiative works on the rule of law, fighting falsified medicines, and the right to healthcare, raising awareness, building capacity, and the equality of health services, among others.
The Initiative further underlies other socioeconomic, political, and cultural factors associated with health outcomes that are critical for achieving SDG3 of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, whether at national, regional, or international levels.
RASIT fellow experts and professionals have been working with academia, pharmaceuticals, the public-private sectors, and civil society to support resilient systems for sustainable health.
The Initiative has developed into a Global Health Hub with a vision to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the highest international levels of excellence.
RASIT Global Health provides research and studies excellence to meet global health challenges by supporting researchers and research institutions in low and middle-income countries, through equitable collaborations and partnerships either with RASIT’s fellow experts or its development partners.
We work closely with health authorities and institutions, as well as relevant sectors.
