Membership
Individual membership:
Open to every person over the age of 18 years, interested in furthering the objectives of the league.
Membership fee is US$100.00 for professionals, and US$25.00 for students, per year, and is considered
as a contribution to the league. For associate membership, an individual should submit his/her curriculum
vitae (CV), 2 passport-size photo, with the membership fee. Accepted members will receive a certificate of
membership, and the benefits package (including free subscription to the league’s journal, and discounts to
the league’s activities).
Corporate Membership Program
WISIL offers Corporate Membership to any company that supports the mission and the objectives of the
League. A primary purpose of the Corporate Membership Program is to assist the private sector in
successfully integrating professional women into all levels of the work force by fostering a corporate culture
that encourages the retention and promotion of women in science. The program also provides a means for
corporations to publicly display support for WISIL and the advancement of women in the technical workforce.
Corporate membership is a minimum annual contribution of 5,000 US Dollars. Member Corporate will
receive the following benefits:
- Company recognition in the form of a large logo, prominently displayed in WISIL Magazine and on the
RASIT website (linked to the company homepage)
- A full page company profile in WISIL Magazine, to be included once per year
- A full-sized profile of a female scientist from the corporation to be posted on the website (up to 1000
words).
- 5 free job advertisements or other announcements per year, each posted on the website for one month (up
to 300 words each).
Your tax-deductible donation to the WISIL supports the scholarship/fellowship
program that recognizes and encourages outstanding women students.
