Paris Jefferson named RASIT Goodwill Ambassador
London, 29 March 2008 - Actress Paris Jefferson was named Goodwill Ambassador for
RASIT today.
"Paris is an example of a sincere, sensitive, loving, and hard-working lady” said RASIT
Executive Director, Princess Dr Nisreen El-Hashemite.
“I want to contribute with campaigns that will help prevent and fight the violence that affects
the children and women” said Paris. The artist explained that she was taking on the position
of Goodwill Ambassador as a way of giving back the good things she has received from life.
Goodwill Ambassadors are renowned people who utilize and take advantage of their public
persona to disseminate messages and carry out activities to support underprivileged
individuals.
Paris along with other RASIT volunteers shares a commitment to improve the life quality of
the children and women of Third World countries in general and of Iraq in particular.
Paris along with Miss Hiyam Sujud RASIT’s coordinator will pay a visit to Iraqi refugees in
Lebanon.
