RASIT’s Executive Director arrives in Baghdad

New Jersey – RASIT’s Executive Director arrived in Iraq, where HRH Dr Princess Nisreen El-Hashemite met with a broad spectrum of the country’s people including House Speaker HE Dr Mahmoud Al-Mashadani and members of the Iraqi Parliament, and the prominent Sheit leader Sayed Ammar Al-Hakim.

Dr Princess El-Hashemite then held discussions with HE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Abd Thiab.

Dr Princess El-Hashemite visited three providences: Basra, Najaf and concluded her visit in Baghdad, where she explored the situation of universities, hospitals, and civic associations. The Presidents and Deans of: Basra University, Kufa University, and Baghdad University, as well as Governors of Providences and Heads of Civic Associations, appreciated RASIT’s achievements and role in sustainable development programs and looked forward to cooperating with RASIT with a view to finding solutions for the challenges facing Iraq today.
